We hope your Christmas Day was filled with joy and peace as you remembered the day God kept His promise and provided a Savior who is Christ the Lord. We hope this Jesus is more to you than a sentimental baby born in a stable but is your Redeemer and your Reason for being. As He is for us.
.
Today was a long day of waiting for us, but tonight Hadassah finally woke up, was removed from the ventilator and had the tubes removed from her throat and nose. We are happy to finally understand what she is trying to tell us and to help her. Hadassah is still very weak and tired but she is awake, extubated and interacting with us, albeit groggily and with a very hoarse voice. Thanks be to God !

All praise, honor and glory be to Yahweh!

The Van Houten Family
Dear Paul and Carol, what an commemorative day, today is.
ReplyDeleteFor unto us/Hadassah is born -- a Savior, -- Christ the Lord. Our Lord came into this world with a sinless heart to give Himself, His Heart, His Body, His life, His Blood to redeem sinful hearts and souls, to present them to His Father cleansed from all pollution of sin.
How can we begin to THANK HIM !!!
I can not but think of the of the scripture where the Lord has said: “I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh”(Ezekiel 11:19)
This is our prayer for all our children, grandchildren and all those dear families that have supported you and all of us in the weeks and months past. May they all have that new spirit within them.
Let us all continue as a “Prayer Army” storm the throne of Grace for our dear Hadassah and all them that do not know this Precious Savior yet.
Let us begin to praise Him as David did in 1 Chronicles 16: 25 -- 36, “For great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised: -- Glory and honor are in His presence; -- Give unto the LORD, ye kindred of the people, give unto the LORD glory and strength. -- Give unto the LORD the glory due unto His name: -- and come before him: worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness. -- Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice: -- Blessed be the LORD God of Israel for ever and ever. And all the people said, Amen, and praised the LORD.
