I Love My Hair . . .

This video is for smiles - not for philosophical disection - but I'm sure you will understand how Sesame Street resonates over here.  Thanks for the laugh, Sheri!

We Love Curly Hair!

Yesterday, Hadassah and I spent some time at a hair salon getting her a long-awaited Ouidad cut by a curl expert.  Check out her beautiful curls:

How's Hadassah Doing? Here's An Update.

When Hadassah was first admitted to the hospital six weeks ago, her heart was considered "severely dilated" but with quick medical attention, it was in a "moderate severe" condition when she came home. Her heart has remained the same ever since and yesterday's echo confirmed that this is still the case. This does not mean that she will remain like that. Statistically speaking, she still has a 1/3 chance of healing, a 1/3 chance of deteriorating and a 1/3 chance of remaining as she is but stable. We know that our good Lord controls all these stats as well so we ask that you will continue to bring her needs before the great and loving Physician.
.

Also, she just finished wearing a telemetry device for two weeks to keep track of any heartbeat runs that she might have. We are happy to report that the telemetry did not pick up anything unusual. We hope this means that her previous two incidents were the side effect of a drug that she is no longer taking. Praise God for these results!

Gunther Got A Haircut

Making Himself At Home

Even though he was keeping himself outside, we had to do something about this one. He keeps building his web across our front porch steps!

That's My Lefty

Josiah is having a fun soccer season so far - playing hard and scoring for his team. But, he doesn't always play like you'd expect . . . like the time he kicked the ball on behalf of the goalie - clear across the field to his open teammate who kicked it in the net. Or, like that corner kick goal he made. You'd almost think he scores by mistake.
